Odd fashion question- help appreciated?

OK, here is my dilemma. I am wearing a white suit, blue shirt, and a blue patterned tie. My shoes are also white. Should I go for a white belt? What about socks? I know these are trivial, but I would like my attire to be perfect for this day, since I believe that marriage is a once in a lifetime thing. My bride to be will be wearing a cornflower blue and white dress.

Odd fashion question- help appreciated?
You guys sound so cute! Here's my vote: DEFINATELY the white belt!!! (I can't imagine anything else without thinking - whoa!). As far as the socks, again you'd better go with white - at least they won't be as obvious, but you don't want a blue line in between your shoe and your pant line. You're going to look dapper! Congrats to you and your future wife.
Reply:I would go for a white belt and blue socks (a nice splash of color!).

Brides often have an unexpected splash of color on the underside of a white gown, or funky colored shoes. Why can't you do the same with your socks?

I think it will look cool. You guys sound like the nontraditional funky type, which I like! Unique weddings and attire is wear it's at (pun intended). ;)

In the end, entirely YOUR call. Most people will agree that you should go for a white belt (don't want to compete with the tie) and white socks to keep the look uniform. I say go for blue socks.

Our groomsmen all wore white though...it looked great.

Congrats and good luck!
Reply:the only way you should wear white socks is if you can find a pair of dress socks in white - which probably isn't that common. a .light blue dress sock should work just fine. white belt would look fine though. seems like you guys will have beautiful pictures just based on your outfits/color scheme!!

Good luck and God bless :-)
Reply:A white tie would be better, it would set off your shirt and her dress. Skip the belt, it's too "plantation owner" style, like "boss hog" from the dukes of hazard. no offense. White socks.

Have beautiful day.
Reply:white belt and socks I say. Sounds nice, hope you both have a happy day and a wonderful life together.
Reply:white belt, white socks, and i think it would look better with a white tie too maybe one w/ a little blue in it that way it would pull together the whole blue and white color scheme
Reply:white socks and belt. Are you going for a seventies theme?
