Getting married in a periwinkle dress confused about my 4 bridesmaids, what color should they be in?

Periwinkle is a pale bluish purple: of a pale bluish purple color

Microsoft? Encarta? 2007. ? 1993-2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. -- It is a soft color that calms anxieties. I have tried looking the color up on the internet, but I have had no luck in finding the color of my dress or even colors that could be considered periwinkle. Another example of the color is cornflower blue. They are similar in color, however, cornflower blue is more on the blue side. Any help and ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I found something on wikipedia that has the colour periwinkle on it and it is a very very lovely colour.

here is the colour I think the bridesmades should wear.

scroll down the page after you click on the link and find the light pink or the lavender. Thats just my opinion but you can pick from any of the lovely colours.

hope I helped you and enjoy your wedding!
Reply:I would go with a lavender color, maybe have them holding white flowers? DONT make them wear dark colors, it will clash. You want the overall bridal party picture to somewhat go together, so lavender may be your best bet as it is similar to periwinkle but not too similar to be mixed up. Congratulations on the marriage!
Reply:darling, you should get married in a white dress, it's a symbol of purity, plus, it's like, well let me put it this way, when i see somebody that wears a colored dress, to me, the first thing i think is disrespect, maybe no that, but like fake...i think you should deff. get a gorgeous white wedding gown!!!

congratulations!!!!
Reply:Thgis may sound strange but to really offset your dress, they could wear a champange white. It's not white so it wouldn't infringe on any beleifs. However the contrast would set you apart and truly be astounding. Good Luck
Reply:Dark purple or a dark navy would look good with a periwinkle dress. Never go lighter then the bride dress though, then it would look like they would be getting married instead of you.

The links below show the colors next to each other, they blend.

get well flowers
